Each month, we host and advertise a variety of events (e.g. monthly chapter meetings, community and networking events), where you have the potential to learn new information/skills, earn PDUs, meet other project professionals, and have fun! Community of Practice- Excel 2026 session will be held on February 19th from 6-7pm. Register here to join an interactive session focused on enhancing Microsoft Excel skills. All levels from beginner to experienced are welcome in this open Q&A forum.

Volunteer Opportunities
Unleash your potential and leave an indelible imprint on PMI and the profession.
Even if there aren't any opportunities that fit your skills at the moment, don't worry! Positions do open up throughout the year, and filling out the volunteer interest questionnaire will add you to the volunteer pool.
Education
Study Group Instructor- The PMIHR Study Group Instructor is responsible for leading the scheduled PMP Study Group. This includes accepting and providing orientation for new members of the group. The instructor will provide study materials or a list of study materials and information on how to obtain the latest PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge).
Prerequisites/ Skills:
- Support the Annual PDC Event
- Digital communications (email, social media, group chat apps, group scheduling software, etc.)
- Ability to interact with military community as needed
Time Commitment:
3-6 hours a month (1 study sessions per month of 1 hour per, 2 hours prep/ comms per study group)
