Presentation Title: Critical & Near Path Project Management

Presentation Description:  So you've spent the last few months in and out of meetings with project stakeholders hammering out all of the details of your schedule. Bobby Oler, PMP, MCTS, Director of Planning & Scheduling, KAIROS, Inc.   

Robert leads all Planning & Scheduling efforts for Kairos Inc. and has over 12 years of diverse project management experience developing complex integrated master schedules for Nuclear Engineering/Construction and NAVAIR/DoD Acquisition Programs.  Robert currently serves as the Lead IMS Analyst for the Electronic Warfare Infrastructure Improvement (EWIIP) ADPO at NAVAIR. Prior to this Robert was the Schedule Manager for a $500M Nuclear Design Engineering effort to restore the Bellefonte Nuclear Power Plant located in Scottsboro, Alabama to operational status.

Robert is a native of Baltimore, Md. but currently lives in Lexington Park with his wife and daughter. After graduating from high school Robert went on to serve proudly in the United States Navy as an Electrician's Mate-Second Class prior to his honorable discharge in 1999. While on active duty Robert completed multiple deployments in the Mediterranean Sea where he served as the Lead Propulsion Electrician aboard the USS Wasp LHD-1.  

Robert has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2008 and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in both Project and Project Server since 2009. Robert is currently enrolled at Excelsior College earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Electro-mechanical Technology.

Join us for an evening of learning, networking and socializing on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.  Register before 29 November at 5:30 PM to avoid a $10 late registration fee.

·  Registration and the cash bar opens at 5:30 PM with time to network with colleagues and learn about one another in our regional professional organization.

 ·  A plated dinner will begin between 6:15 and 6:30 PM with some brief chapter business and introductions.

Menu: House Salad with Ranch or Italian Dressing, Chicken Florentine, Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, Rolls & Butter, Chef's Choice of Dessert, Iced Tea, Water and Coffee.  chicken entre'e, starch and vegetable, salad, bread and dessert.  Coffee, tea and water.

***Vegetarian and special meals due to dietary restrictions will be available upon request by noting your preference in the Special Instructions and Comments block while registering.  These meals cannot be guaranteed if member or guest does not register at least one week prior to the meeting.***  

 ·  At approximately 7 PM we will turn our focus to the featured presentation.

PDUs Available: 

1 Category A PDU for Certified PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP or PMI-SP, which the chapter will log for you.  Up to 1.5 PDUs for networking prior to the start of the meeting that you log yourself.  Up to 1.5 PDUs if you volunteer to help with registration that you also log yourself.
