The Importance of Emotional Intelligence in Managing Complex Projects
With over 30 years of Program and Project Management experience in the U.S. Navy and at a Fortune 500 Company, I've learned that it takes more than education, training and experience to successfully manage projects, regardless of size; it also takes a good measure of emotional intelligence (EQ). I will share some experiences of how EQ has helped me adjust and perform effectively while leading complex projects that are accompanied by stressful environments, change in management approaches and transitions.
