Presentation Title: Managing Motivation:  Leadership Lessons from an AT Thru-Hike

Presentation Description: Having goals is hard enough, without constantly fighting the need to stay motivated.  We can all succeed if we can get a handle on how we manage our motivation (and remove the things that demotivate us).  And then, sometimes, we tackle 2189 miles of trail hiking, and managing our own motivation and that of others is even more important.

Participants will learn a technique for managing motivation that empowers success, as well as be reminded of 8 steps that have application directly to the management of projects to help us be better managers and leaders.
