About our Speaker:
Steve Randolph has over 25 years experience as a Systems Engineer and Project/Program Manager. After 24 years in the Naval Nuclear Power Program, Steve has spent the last 10 years with various DoD contractors as a Lead Systems Engineer and Program Manager for both hardware and software projects. At Northrop Grumman Newport News, he worked the CVN21 aircraft carrier program and was the Software Acquisition Manager for the DD(X) Electric Drive prototype. As Systems Integration Manager for Alion Science and Technology, he managed personnel responsible for Systems Integration, Risk Management, Life Cycle and Cost Engineering, and Requirements Engineering and was the Lead Systems Engineer for a variety of US and foreign navy designs. He also was the contractor Program Manager supporting the NAVSEA LPD 17 Class Ship Design Manager. He has been an adjunct professor for various local colleges teaching Information Systems Management, Business Administration, and Project and Program Portfolio Management.
He currently is the Director of Systems Engineering for BOSH Global Services, where he has been the Program Manager for the design and implementation of Full Motion Video distribution systems for various Air Force major commands including AFNORTH and AFCENT. He also leads the corporate Program Management Office (PMO). He has been a member of the Hampton Roads PMI chapters since 2000 and was a volunteer for the Washington DC PMI chapter for two years. He was a contributor for two PMI Practice Standards: Project Configuration Management and Risk Management. He has been a PMP since 2004 and is also an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional with the DoD Acquisition specialization.
